Servants Community Housing has been operating affordable accommodation and safe housing for those on low incomes for over a quarter of a century in Hawthorn, and more recently, Canterbury and Kew. In 2011 I designed a rebrand for the organisation for their name change (from Servants in Hawthorn), reflecting its growth beyond a single suburb and facility. This involved a brand new logo reflecting the story and unique offerings of Servants in the housing space, new stationery including business cards, letterhead etc, promotional materials, and simultaneously the design and publication of a 96-page full colour book: Anthology - a collection of stories, biographies and poems of housing residents.

Customised OSCommerce Shopping Cart, Mailing List Management, Social Networking, SEO and other services

The Chocolate Box complements 10 retail stores with a strong online retail, wholesale and corporate presence serving both local and overseas customers with several hundred products. The current site was built on an oscommerce foundation to visual designs provided by The Chocolate Box. We also use a powerful mailing list system to keep in touch with customers. Ongoing development is seasonal and driven by search engine optimisation and usability refinements.

Sustainable Renewable Energy Company »

The Sustainable Renewable Energy Company (SREC) is an Australian specialist renewable energy project developer working in Australia and South East Asia. In 2011 I redesigned their website, meeting an urgent deadline for an impending conference. SREC has easy control over the content of their site through a custom-built CMS.

Eltham is a growing church in Melbourne's leafy outer eastern suburbs. EBC had almost no web presence when the project began, and required a style that was appropriate for communicating clearly with the local community, pending an imminent move. First steps were to appreciate the uniqueness of the Eltham area and community, and then to construct a site that was easy to manage and maintain a high quality appearance, without being too corporate.

New Hope is a large and growing church in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. New Hope needed a site that reflected the future of where they were heading as a church, that made use of external media distribution technologies such as Youtube and iTunes, and was easy for their staff to maintain while keeping the visual look and feel. Part of the process involved establishing what various visitors to the site may be looking for and ensuring that the site remained focused on serving those not yet part of the church.

Atoms is one of the largest basketball clubs in the Hawthorn Basketball Association with nearly 50 teams and over 350 active players. They needed an efficient way to manage player registrations, communicate with team managers, build reports, track fees and other administrative tasks. I have also provided them with stationery design, logo development from the original concept, t-shirts and printed promotional materials.

Edukit provides educational toys and resources to schools and parents across Australia. Their site needed a visual revamp which was then implemented into the PERL-based shopping cart backend including an AJAX contact form.

We then recently relaunched Edukit with a full shopping cart solution and have seen steadily growing sales ever since.
